on Wednesday December 4, 2024, that Prof Gambari, the former Under Secretary General, incharge of political Affairs and former UN Chairman Committee on Peace Keeping Operation was on his way to Paris, France capital to discuss the readness of African Union (AU) Peace Keeping Forces Assignment.
The Former UN Under-Secretary and former AU Chairman African Peer-Review Mechaniism told Africa This Week that the AU Peace Keeping project was very dear to his heart.
” I had chaired an expert group in 2016 to assess the state of readiness of the Force which was to have been operational by 2015.
