Nigerian President Tinubu has honoured each of the Super Falcons player for their performance in the 2024 Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco.

The “Queens of African Football” as refered to them by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu were each bestowed with the National Honour of the Order Of the Niger,(oon)

As that wasn’t enough the visibly excited and football Lover Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR proceeded to give each Super Falcons player and officials a warping mouth watering cash gifts of official $100,000, 3-bedroom Bungalow apartments at the Nation’s capital, Abuja.

President Tinubu announced the gifts to each of the victorious Super Falcons player and team officials that they would get $100,00″, and 3-bedroom bungalow apartments as well as a national honour each at the reception organised for team on their arrival to Nigeria at the Aso Rock Villa on Monday, July 28, 2025,

The Founder/Chairman of the Savannah Center for Diplomacy, Democracy, and Development, SCDDD, Abuja, Prof Ibrahim A Gambari made the remark as he served as the Presenter of Public Presentation of the Book at Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre, Abuja, on Tuesday 9th July 2025.

He “urged every Nigerian:and beyond from our bustling commercial centers to our tranquil rural communities, from our hallowed halls of academia to our burgeoning entrepreneurial hubs, to embrace this book by Mallam Shehu as an intellectual treasure”,

Professor Gambari told the dignitaries present at the occasion how it was a great honour and unique priviledge, “as Chief Presenter of this book to pay tribute to the author for giving us an enduring chronicle of public service and strategic communication from the vantage point of a presidential spokesman”.

“In a real sense, therefore, this is far more than a mere book launch; it is a profound act of national documentation, a deliberate and vital effort to imbue our collective consciousness with the intricate operational dynamics of presidential communication and a vital element in the very architecture of democratic governance.”, the former Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs stated.
