The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, has called for the efficient management of criminal Justice institutions, speedy trials and protection of the rights of suspects, defendants and victims.
CP Miller G. Dantawaye, made the call when he paid a condolence visit on the Presiding Judge, Federal High Court, Lokoja Judicial Division, Hon. Justice Isah Dashen on the passing of Hon. Justice D.D. Abutu (Rtd), former Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Abuja, Tuesday June 17, 2025
According to the media statement from the office of the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Kogi State Police Command, Lokoja, SP WILLIAM OVYE AYA, and made available to #Africa This Week, the visit was aimed at promoting efficient management of criminal Justice institutions, speedy trials and protection of the rights of suspects, defendants and victims.
He emphasised on the importance of synergy between the law enforcement and judiciary in upholding the rule of law.
